WHAT IS TURF ENGINE

This is a Functional Fitness Race, designed around the foundations of Turf Games itself: strength, conditioning, power, and teamwork. What does that look like in practice? A blend of running, functional movement, and machine work - programmed to reward balance.

ENGINE isn’t a running race.

It isn’t a lifting competition.

It’s the space in between.

A full-spectrum test that levels the field and favours the well-rounded athlete - the ones who know how to control pace, manage fatigue, and push their engine when it matters most.

Three disciplines. One engine. No hiding.

TURF GAMES AUSTRALIA

FROM LOCAL ROOTS TO A GLOBAL MOVEMENT

What started in 2018 as a simple idea—to unite London’s fitness community—has exploded into a global phenomenon. Today, Turf Games attracts over 50,000 athletes and spectators from around the world, all stepping onto the TURF to be part of something bigger than themselves.

Born out of a passion to create a space where fitness meets purpose, Turf Games was designed to be more than just a competition. It’s an inclusive, team-based challenge that mirrors the camaraderie of sport, while pushing boundaries and building unshakable community.

Over the years, we've seen firsthand what fuels people to show up, train hard, and push further:

• A deep desire to stay accountable

• A need for fitness to be fun, social, and shared

• A goal that ignites motivation and purpose

These three core pillars—accountability, community, and motivation—are the heartbeat of Turf Games. They drive every event we create, from our epic global festivals and Fittest in the City seasons to our grassroots training days.

Turf Games isn’t just an event. It’s a movement.
